Home Energy Assistance Program Begins
As of November 19, 2012 Columbia Opportunities, Inc. is accepting applications from Columbia County, New York residents for the Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP). HEAP is a federally funded program that provides help with a household’s annual energy cost. HEAP also offers an emergency benefit for households in a heat or heat related energy emergency. People may apply in person or by mail through Columbia Opportunities, Inc. at our 540 Columbia Street location in Hudson, NY.
