The COI Housing Choice Voucher Section 8 program provides ongoing housing assistance for income eligible families with children, senior citizens, and individuals with disabilities living throughout Columbia County, New York. This program helps low-income families and individuals to live in affordable and decent housing.
There is generally a long waiting list for assistance – however - we encourage area residents to apply. Your name will never come up to the top of the list unless you apply!
Area landlords are also encouraged to contact the program for information.
A First Time Homebuyer option is also available to eligible participants.
